Plan the electrical connection for a pool or spa
The pool or spa itself is only part of the project. Its electrical supply needs to be coordinated with outdoor construction and the selected equipment. Discuss the electrical side with Réjean Électrique and share the plans and equipment references so the scope can be agreed.
Collect equipment details before construction
Include the pool or spa type, proposed location and equipment list supplied by the seller. Provide available technical sheets rather than estimating requirements from the size of the pool. Mention equipment planned for a later stage too; that allows the team to discuss the full project without assuming existing capacity.
Coordinate access and other trades
The route from the building and the outdoor construction stages need to be planned before surfaces are finished. Identify who is coordinating the work, which tasks belong to other trades and when access will be available. Confirm installation requirements and municipal procedures before work begins. Planning these steps helps coordinate the electrical work with the rest of the project.
Confirm what the electrical quote covers
Electrical connections do not automatically include pool installation, plumbing, excavation or landscaping repairs. A heat pump or other associated equipment should be identified specifically and its inclusion confirmed. The quotation should distinguish the agreed electrical work from the responsibilities of other contractors.

Frequently asked questions
Are other pool construction tasks included?
Not automatically. Electrical work and other contractors’ responsibilities should be distinguished during planning and in the quote.
Can an existing connection be reused?
Its condition and compatibility with the selected equipment need to be assessed. A former pool does not establish that the existing installation suits a new one.
