A suitable charger meets your charging needs and can be installed in your setting. Before comparing models, identify the vehicle, parking arrangement and everyday routine. Discussing the installation first helps avoid making the decision solely on an advertised power rating or promotion.
Describe the daily charging need
How far do you usually drive, and how long is the vehicle parked? Will charging take place outside or in a garage? Is a second vehicle planned? These details describe the requirement without promising one charging speed for every vehicle. Keep the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements and the reference for any shortlisted charger.
Consider the route and electrical supply
Distance to the panel, access and parking layout affect the work to be planned. Assessment of the existing installation helps establish the available options.
